"She Will Be Loved" is the third single from the Californian band Maroon 5's 2002 debut album, Songs About Jane. Released in 2004, the single peaked at #5 in the United States, and has sold over 2,722,000 downloads since release as of December 2012.^[1] It also peaked at #4 in the United Kingdom. The song reached #1 in Australia and remained at the top for 5 non-consecutive weeks. The single is noted for its music video which stars Kelly Preston.

When the band was commissioned to perform at the AFI Life Achievement Award ceremony for George Lucas, this song was chosen in tribute to Lucas' children, mainly his oldest daughter.

The song is also playable in rhythm game Band Hero, which also features Levine as a playable avatar. It also appears in the film, The Last Song (2010), and was included as track 10 of the films soundtrack.

Which are beautiful maybe sort of hokey love-songs. Well what's wrong with that?

In this increasingly very strange & nutty world we need more & more love-songs.

More love fantasies.

But it shouldn't stop there.

More authentic relationships are called for that will cut through bourgeois convention whenever necessary.
