Re Mo Dowd's "Two Against The One" satirical column depicting McCain and Hillary scheming against Obama.

The thing is...Mo hates McCain and Hillary more than she does Obama. In fact, she doesn't dislike Obama but isn't afraid to point out his campaign's weaknesses.

He's going to have to get down in the gutter with McCain if he wants to win it.

Obama already has three strikes against him: His "funny sounding" name; his "off-white" skin tone; and of course his being a "Muslim".

And Biden--with his "speak first think later" mouth-- could end up being his fourth...

One good thing coming out of all this: The Clintons finally revealed themselves completely for what they are --bitter dysfunctional neoliberal race-pandering opportunists-- demolishing the illusions of former supporters.

If Hillary has accomplished anything it is this: she has become the Al Smith of today. ( I'm sure her bevy of dutiful darlings, hot-flashing fashion-plates and violently twitching angry gals disagree...)

At least, that's the way I feel about it…
